Diana (ZHAO Jiashi) marries an American and arrives in California as a new immigrant. One night, she encounters her neighbour Sally (Joy Hanna Park) and quickly befriends her. While it seems like a new chapter in her life, Diana soon faces challenges in both her marriage and friendship.
Director
PAN Luo-Bing is a writer-director and cinematographer from Shenzhen, China. Her creative endeavours often revolve around exploring themes of cultural conflict, queer experience, and womanhood through storytelling which strikes a chord on both personal and universal levels. Currently based in Los Angeles, Luo-Bing is a recent Directing B.A. graduate from UCLA’s Film and Television program.
