Become a Volunteer!
The Mulan International Film Festival is 100% run and managed by volunteers. You will have the chance to become an integral part of our festival success. We are currently recruiting for Festival Volunteers and Photographers/Videographers for our 2024 Festival, happening from August 9th to August 17th at Downtown Toronto.
Festival Volunteers
If you are committed and responsible, have strong communication skills, enjoy engaging with the public, and share our passion to showcase the best of Chinese-language films and pan-Chinese cinemas, please do not hesitate to submit an online application form and JOIN US!
Qualified candidates must be available to complete at least 4 shifts between August 9th to August 17th , 2024, have good English oral communication skills, and a strong customer service mindset. All application will be reviewed, and qualified candidates will be invited to an in-person orientation session taking place at the end of July.
Photographers/Videographers
If you share our passion and want to be part of our festival to record this journey through your lenses, please do not hesitate to submit an online application form and JOIN US!
Qualified candidates must be available to complete at least 3 shifts during the festival (August 9th to August 17th), for events including but not limited to Opening Reception and Red Carpet, Screening Events, Masterclass and Industry Panel Talk, and Closing Ceremony.

- All volunteers will need to fill out our Online Application Form below.
- Once the application has been received, you will be contacted via email within 5 business days for a phone interview.
- Qualified candidates will be invited to an in-person orientation session taking place at the end of July.
All festival volunteers will receive two complimentary tickets to any screening for each shift completed.
