Introducing the MulanIFF2024 FIlmmaker Pass, giving you an exclusive, incredible discount to an all-access pass to 7 “In Depth With” industry sessions, tickets to regular screenings, and our Opening Reception.
Open to all students interested in filmmaking and related fields, and all active filmmakers, film critics, or industry professionals in film or film-related industry.
Eligibility
For filmmakers, film critics, or industry professionals:
- Worked on at least 2 short films or 1 feature film in the last 3 years; OR
- Published at least 2 film critiques or reviews in published online or paper media outlets in the last 2 years; OR
- Any other relevant experience demonstrating your current, active working relationship with the film industry
For high school, college and university students:
- Student ID showing expected year of graduation or year of enrollment; OR
- Screenshot of current registration status as a student; OR
- Official letter from Registrar or Faculty confirming current enrollment; OR
- Any other reasonable proof of current, active enrollment in a high school, college, university or equivalent

FAQs
What is the “Fountainhead” programme?
The “Fountainhead” programme is our competition programme. It celebrates and promotes emerging talents and their works with creative originality, and selects its official selection through an open call for submissions. Shorts and Features in the 2024 “Fountainhead” programme will compete for the Audience Awards, Best New Director Award, and Jury Prize for Best Short Film. All awards come with cash prizes of $300 (for shorts) or $1000 (for features), which go directly to the directors.
How to use my Filmmaker Pass?
On your first day to the film festival, visit our Welcome Desk to pick up your physical Filmmaker Pass. Your physical Filmmaker Pass will give your access to all “In Depth With” Industry Sessions.
You will receive another email on how to redeem your regular screening tickets. You MUST redeem individual screening tickets to gain access to regular screening.
When will the 2024 Schedule be announced?
We will start announcing the detailed screening schedule in early July and will continue releasing festival line-ups until then.
