Art assistant Cal working for a fashion commercial production, endeavours to retrieve an installation that has vanished in the rising tide. A drone flies out to the sea, launching a poetic and phantasmagorical journey.
Director
Originally from Fuzhou, Fujian Province, LIN Yihan is a filmmaker and artist based in Shanghai. She received her MFA degree in Cinema Directing from Columbia College Chicago. Her creative domain encompasses narrative shorts, experimental films, documentaries, and visual installations. She excels in exploring the relationships between individuals and spaces within contemporary contexts through imagery. She particularly focuses on the integration of emerging media within traditional cinema. Her works have been selected for Berlinale, Slamdance Film Festival, Lima Alterna Festival, Minikino Film Week, ZLÍN Film Festival, etc. Her short film Yesterday I Was the Moon was selected for the 3rd MulanIFF Fountainhead.
